Hi,

your sw doesn't support ipsec. You have to upgrade, but your flash (8M) is very small size, I am not sure that you can find an ipsec image for that size.you can use feature navigator tool for choosing an image.

Hi, If you have a Cisco 2501 or similar instead Cisco 2600 you can use Ipsec with this HW requirements. The Cisco 2600 has a high requirements of HW always more than the 2500.

I have running IPSec with 4 Mb of SDRAM and 8M of Flash memory on the 2500.

If you can try it !, but it is not 3DES

Thnks,

I have the 2610 and will be purchasing additional memory. I will use an ipsec with des or 3des to encrypt the traffic depending on the performance. I also have rip running on the routers and would encrypt the entire traffic between sites.
