VMS is a collection of multiple different utilities for managing Cisco Security Devices.
IDS MC is the IDS Management Center and is used for configuring the IDS Sensors.
SecMon is the Security Monitor Center and is used for monitoring IDS events as well as Pix syslog messages.
Have you loaded SecMon onto your VMS server, and have you configured SecMon to receive the IDS alarms?
