Apparently NAT is keeping our users from making connections to external servers using Hummingbird's Exceed X-window client.
The port in question is 6000, and simply opening a conduit to the global pool for that port doesn't solve the problem.
Anybody have any experience getting Exceed, or any X-window client to work through the PIX?
Thanks,
Rick

I don't think this feature will work with NAT, you have to have a static mapping for Hummingbird to work, also 6000 is only for the first diplay, for display 1 its from port 6001 to 6063.

could you please give some more information? we have a lot of unix admins that use X. it is working just fine. remember you need to have a acl that has the system (server) as the source, and the admins machine as the destination.
thanks.
