Exclusion syntax for Linux

Hi All,

I wanted to know the correct syntax for adding exclusions for Linux in AMP for endpoints console. The CSIDL syntax for exclusions is it just for windows machines or also for Linux?

I ask because i have excluded some directories using wild card but still i see in logs cisco AMP demon could not open the file permission denied SCAN ERROR for that directory. Is there anyway to check if the exclusions have reached the clients locally
