Firepower & BGP community new format

Hello

We have to configure a Firepower version 6.2.3.10, we have a show run configuration and I need to activate the next configuration....

bgp-community new-format
community-list standard COMM_DEFAULT permit 0:2000

Where in the FMC, that manages the FTD, can configure or activate those lines?

Regards.

Re: Firepower & BGP community new format

Hello

I used Flexconfig to add the line "bgp-community new-format"

The COMM_DEFAULT was configured on "Community list" in the object section in the FMC.

Once added the flexconfig the 0: appear on every community configured.

So the requirement was successfully completed.

Re: Firepower & BGP community new format

Hi,

BGP-community new-format is non configurable, as for the community-list, you do it by using the predefine object of "Community Lists" or by using FlexConfig.

Re: Firepower & BGP community new format

Hi,

I'm glad it worked. Just be aware that any feature which is not officially documented and supported via Flexconfig, but it gets deployed via FlexConfig cause it's supported though by the ASA/LINA, any outcome it's supported at your own risk.

Regards,

Cristian Matei.
