I have a PIX 515 in a COLO for our website. Nothing has changed from yesterday, yet yesterday I could map to shares on the machine for the website, today I can't. anyone ever heard of this happening, Reloaded router to no avail. None of the PIX entries changed, just all of the sudden file sharing dripped off. Terminal Services and other things still work, just not the ability to map admin shares or any share for that matter. Can someone help? Thx. What ports must be open for the filesharing to take place?

You allowed ms filesharing ports open to the internet? Have you been patching your machines?

Yes. But only to the ip address of our ISA Server. The only things open to public are www and smtp. And yes, you can rest assured that all of my machines have been patched. Did that a few weeks ago and sped the process up when I saw someone post code about it. Can you suggest a better (keep in mind cost effective) method. We have a Cisco router here, can I create a VPN tunnel between a Cisco Router 3640 and a PIX 515?
