Applied ACE to FWSM, the rule permits access from outside interface to FWSM DMZ. The outside ACL still shows "deny" of the source IP on the outside interface.I reviewed ACE's and did not find anything to deny the service. If you're asking about differences between ACE and FWSM, have a look at
