Hi,

Make the following changes to the configuration.

ip address outside dhcp setroute

(this will provide the PIX with default route from dhcp)

no route inside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 x.x.x.x

(incorrect default route)

The above settings should permit connectivity to outside. Perform 'show route' to confirm receipt of default route from dchp. If no default route received, configure route as:

route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 x.x.x.x

The PIX will only reply to icmp pings on the local interface to the host therefore you will not be able to ping the outside interface from an inside host.

To ping the internet do the following:

access-list inbound permit icmp any any echo-reply

access-group inbound in interface outside

Cheers,

Paul.
