Hi,

My sensor is only reporting Route Down and Route up as well in PostOffice messages. All the other alarms are not showing, not low, medium or high. I checked connectivity with the CSPM 2.3.3i and the sensor 4210 running 3.1(3)S46.

Any ideas??

Hi,

Login to the sensor as netrangr and run the command nrstatus, see if the nr.packetd daemon is running, if not, then modify the /usr/nr/etc/daemons file to include the nr.packetd and restart the daemons by running nrstop and nrstart.

Hi,

Actually there was several problems,

1. the packetd.conf file in the sensor was corrupted, so in CSPM we went back to use the default template under sensor signatures to over write the file on the sensor.

2. the loggerd daemon was not initializing after this, simple reboot of the sensor fixed the problem.

3.the database was reset and the CSPM configuration was restored from backup.
