Hi,
I purchased a wildcard certificate from Comodo.
Now they send me 4 files:
- AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt (Root CA)
- COMODORSAAddTrustCA.crt (Intermediate certificate)
- COMODORSAOrganizationValidationSecureServerCA.crt (another root CA ?!)
- star.mydomain.com.crt (wildcard certificate)
I installed root ca on one trustpoint and intermediate on an other.
When I try to import the certificate to the trustpoint with intermediate certificate it fails. (% Failed to parse or verify imported certificate).
Sep 29 12:29:16.055 MEST: CRYPTO_PKI: status = 65535: failed to verify or insert the cert into storage
Sep 29 12:29:16.055 MEST: %PARSER-5-CFGLOG_LOGGEDCMD: User:xxx logged command:crypto pki import *.mydomain.com certificate
Do I have to create a third trustpoint ? How ?
Thanks
Mike

You should be able to follow the procedure that my colleague Rahul laid out in the following thread:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11062706/installing-ssl-certificates-ios
It's pretty old but the basics haven't changed since then.
