Hello,
We encountered a problem when trying to apply a sig update of our 5.1(3)S240 sensor to S242 or S243 via IPS MC 3.0 (that comes with CSM 3.0.1) .
Previously, we had no problems updating our new aip-ssm20 ips module to 5.1(3)S240 via IPS MC.
The error message (from IPS MC progress viewer) are as follows:
Sensor sensor.xxxdomainxxx.com: Signature Update Process
Exception during sensor reimaging: Missing serial number; unable to license device.
Erorr(s) encountered during sensor update, this sensor update is aborted.
We ssh directly into the sensor, the output of the "show version" command shows that our ips license is still valid.
Help, anyone?
