Is CSPM 2.3.3i multi-threaded?

Is CSPM 2.3.3i multi-threaded? Would overall performance, when using the event viewer, increase if dual processors were used? Right now our box has a PIII-866 with 512 RAM and processor utilization jumps to 100% for about 3 to 5 minutes when you try to open event viewer and look at 3 or 4 days of events that total about 30k-40k.

Could I be missing some configuration tweaks or neglecting necessary database maintenance?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
