i am trying to create a LAN-to-LAN tunnel with a third party where we have overlapping address ranges and they are unable to do NAT. Can i use a LAN-to-LAN NAT rule to just tranlsate his source ip's to a range of my choice which i can route thru my network and then translate back before going back thru the tunnel.

I found a doc where NAT translations take place both ways on a single router using the ip nat inside source and the ip nat outside source commands, though I'm not sure this will work with IPSec. Please refer to http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/556/3.html.
