logging with syslog drops from interface

Hello,

I've installed a kiwi syslog daemon to recolect the syslog messages from one of my pix's (6.3). I've configured all the alerts I'm interested for, except one that I don't know how configure it.

I would like to log the drop packets from one interface (i.e. outside). I know it will be a lot of logs, but I'm interested in have it in some ocasions.

How can I configure it?

Hi,

find your interesting messages from following link :

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/products_system_message_guide_chapter09186a008051a0cd.html (software version 6.3)

then add them to alerts (number 1) level by following command :

logging message syslog_id [level level]

for example : logging message 403503 level 1
