Loosing outide address

I have a pix 501 that has been working. Last night i started to loose connection and found that I will get an outside address for a few seconds then it will be gone. It will auth (pppoe) after 30 seconds and will get an outside address then will loose it in a few seconds. Is my ethernet0 failing or PPOE problems?

Found the problem it was my DSL modem. Although if I directly connect to it works fine and I can browse the internet. That's why I started looking to my pix as the problem. I do get the " limited connectivity error" on nic card when directly connected to the DSL modem. Replaced the modem all is happy again.
