Manage FTD interfaces from FMC

When trying to swap a 1G port and a 10G port configuration over on an FTD using FMC, I get an error saying it cant be done because the interface uses interface objects.

how do I clear a config on a FTD port using FMC.

I found links on how to create ports but not remove them.

did you check 

you must check security zone and interface groups see if there is any object include this interface
