Hello,

We have 2 servers both with dual NICS , these 4 nics have the same vlan in common 192.168.9.xxx addresses,they are in turn connected to 2 cisco 6506 switches which have an additional port being used by a PIX515E (DMZ with Failover), Every 10 minutes or so the servers stop pinging each other, nothing is logged on the switch or the firewall.

Any idea's ??

check what are teh arp entries on these servers. may be they have mac address of firewall and that is why ping fails
