need HA license for ASA5516

Do i need to buy HA license for ASA5516-K9 or ASA5516-FPWR-BUN-K9?

or it comes built in.

Hello Mitesh-

HA comes with the base license for the 5516-X. Only the 5506 and the 5512 require the Security Plus license to get HA enabled. For more info please reference the following link:

Like Neno said for the base ASA.

Note that if you are using the FirePOWER module, those are licensed per unit - even in an HA pair.

So you would have to but the L-5516-<URL/TA/TAC/TAM/TAMC>-<1Y/3Y> as appropriate.
