password storage on mars appliance

hopefully the passwords (eg. the enable password of securitiy and monitoring devices) are stored encrypted. are there any papers about that? i need this in written form for the security guy. thanks! kr michael

This is something that would need to come from the product team. Please work through your Cisco account teams (Sales and/or Channels) for this type of information. Internal information may require an NDA.

NDA is Non-Disclosure-Agreement.

Device credentials are encrypted in the database but methods of encryption would need to come from the product team.

There's no need to open a TAC case for that information. Instead, work through your local Cisco sales team.
