PIX501 memory usage

I have a simple question. What is normal usage for the memory? I got my Pix 501 memory usage like this:

Used: 10.927 (MB)

Free: 5.073

Totoal: 16

I am just doing very simple NAT/PAT and some port forwading, is this usage normal or not? If not, how to refresh the memory? Thank you.

"clear xlate" will clear all translations and will free the memory.

I appreciate your response. I did "clear xlate" but it seems didn't change the memory usage:

PIX501(config)# show memory

Free memory: 5336176 bytes

Used memory: 11441040 bytes

Total memory: 16777216 bytes

PIX501(config)# clear xlate

PIX501(config)# show xlate

0 in use, 45 most used

PIX501(config)# show memory

Free memory: 5336176 bytes

Used memory: 11441040 bytes

------------- ----------------

Total memory: 16777216 bytes

PIX501(config)#

Is it normal?
