I have to configure a l2tp without IPSec link between two sites. The scenario looks like:
PC1 --- LAC --- LNS --- PC2
All links are on an Ethernet network.
The cisco routers are from 800 Series (877).
Each interface can ping any other interface.
There are two vlans for each cisco routers (LAC & LNS).
I think I've well configured the tunnel (NAS-initiated) and the PPPoE Relay according to the cisco documentation. But there remains a problem ...
LAC does nothing when a broadcasted PADI message arrives from PC1: The LAC does not forward the PADI message to the LNS and does not answer indeed to the PC1. The error in the windows pppoe client gives the error number 678.
I do not understand the problem.
I've tried to investigate it with debug ppp* * activated but it displays nothing.
Can anybody help me ?
