sensor configuration

I know I've seen in the documentation how to change an existing sensors ip address, but I can't find it now. V 3.1.5, Unix director. Can someone provide a pointer?

Hi William,

If I understand it correct, you want to configure an ip address on a 3.x version IDS. If so, console into the sensor, login as root and enter the command 'sysconfig-sensor'. This will lead you to the configuration options.

That's not it. What I have is the sensors already deployed and I want to change the ip address of each sensor. If I change it on the sensor prior to changing it in nrConfigure, the Director can't communicate with the sensor. If I change it in nrConfigure first, then on the sensor, I still don't get any communication.
