Hello,
Although SSH is enabled and ssh source interface is configured, SFTP option is not available on router running vios-adventerprisek9-m [Cisco VIRL].
Please advise if any additional congif is required to make SFTP [client] available on router?
Thanks,
Martin

Hi,
SFTP support does not look to be very consistent across Cisco devices. As long as SSH is enabled, if it's supported, there is nothing else to be done. The SFTP client is supported, not SFTP server functionality. So enable SSH, and see if you have the SFTP option to your "copy" commands for example. It seems to be more present on IOS-XE.

Cristian Matei.

Hi Cristian,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Yes, this makes sense. So I guess I have to go with SCP.
Thanks.
