Is it possible to use the PIX's VPN Accelarator Card to do SSL Accelaration, too?

ssl accleration for what application? The pix does not support ssl vpns. it only uses ssl for the PDM, and for user authentication if configured, IIRC

I need SSL acceleration to offload SSL processing from Web servers. I know that there are some module and specialized hardware to do this. But, I thought if the SSL and IPSec use the same algorithms (SHA,MD5, DES, 3DES) I can use the same accelerator card to do both IPsec and SSL acceleration.
