Hi,
Please could someone help me with regards to creating sub-interface’s on an ASA5512-X, where devices connected to a 2960-X switch can access the specific sub interfaces (Vlan’s)?
Basic connectivity is - External Gi/0/2 <-> ASA5512 <-> 2960 <-> Devices
I am trying to achieve 2 things -
1 - Share an ‘external’ port on the ASA5512-X between several devices on separate VLANS.
2 - Share an ‘external’ port on the ASA5512-X between several virtual guests on an ESXi 6 host, all on separate VLANS.
Any help would be appreciated, I have looked at several documents but they don’t seem to cover my exact requirements.
Thanks
Richard

Hi Richard-
Can you post:
1. Diagram of your network layout that you need help with
2. ASA interface config
3. Switchport configs

This is now resolved, the issue was that the VLAN's configured were not across the edge switch infrastructure stopping traffic getting to the end point.
Thank you.
