Too much logging

Hello,

Syslog logging.

If I log warning then the reports generated through webtrends are not detailed enough.

If I log one level up which is informational then the log file sits at aroung 3.6 gig a month.

Will the pix ever have the log functionality at the end of the access-list to specify which rules shouls and should not be logged? This is one area where checkpoint surpasses pix.

Try the "no logging" command and the number of the syslog message. A link to the messages for 6.2 is below. Note that it varies per IOS version.
