UPGRADE 3D7010 FROM v 5.4

Good morning! Friends, I need your advice!
So, i have FP Sensor 7100 amd Management Center. I would like to configure everything correctly.

Cisco Firepower Management Center for VMWare 6.1.0.2 version.
Sourcefire 3D7010 v5.4.0.11 (build 36)

 

How I understand , i need to upgrade my 3D7010.
So, today i do not have a working cisco subscription, but 2 years ago i had.
And I downloaded restore images for version 6.0 - 6.2
Is it good idea to restore from images to upgrade my device?

Old boxes!!  Time to upgrade!!  Firepower 1010 probably out do that box and its less than $1500.00 with subscriptions!
