Upgraded ASDM form 5.0 to 5.12, ASDM now won't work

Hi,

I upgraded from ASDM ver 5.0 to 5.12 and now cannot login via client (wrong ver error message)or via HTTPS did I need to upgrade the PIX at the same time?

check the version of ASDM from your runnning config matches the new version .. .. it shoudl say

asdm image disk0:/asdm-XXX.bin

if it does not match then you neeed to specify it manually

First, ensure the ASDM file loaded in Flash is specified by the asdm image flash:// command. Second, verify the http server enable command is in the configuration. Finally, verify the host that attempts to load ASDM is permitted via the http

command.
