VPN3002 Problem

Hi there,

we "reanimated" an old 3002 Hardware VPN-Client. We first did an update to 4.1.x and after that kicked the old config. Now it seems, that we get not rid of the whole config at all, because of getting old DNS-suffixes by the integrated DHCP-Server (values that don't appear in the visible config) and we are not able to authenticate successful to a PIX or something else.

Is there another possibility to reset the device to factory default than pushing the little button or deleting the config or rebooting from the default config?

We'd love to do a downgrade to a 3.something (on which the olf config was made) a image prior to 4.x is nowhere to find ...

Please help ... ;-)

Thanks in advance,

Uli

When the VPN 3002 obtains an IP address and DNS server attributes via PPPoE the VPN 3002 may fail to resolve DNS host names, causing the VPN 3002 PING utility to fail as well as IPSec VPN tunnels to fail to negotiate.
