VTY Password Challenge Lost

Greetings,

Since upgrading our PIX520 from 6.0(1) to 6.1(1), when I telnet into the PIX it's bypassing the VTY password challenge and goes immediately to my user log on. I've made no other changes other that the upgrade. EN password works fine. Any ideas? -Tom

Maybe it cleared during the upgrade or something. Try re-entering it with the passwd command.

I tried that, but it didn't make any difference. I can't believe it's some undocumented feature, but it bothers me that one level of security is missing.
