I'm trying to setup overlays and my understanding is that in order to do that I need:
- "service instance": this selects the traffic coming in from a port/etherchannel
- "overlay instance": this can be configured (for instance on a CSR1000v) with the command "l2vpn ..." or "l2 vfi ..."
- bridge-domain: to my understanding this should glue together the service instance with the overlay instance
First of all, am I correct with what said above?
The thing is that I see the option bridge-domain within the "overlay instance" section in the CSR1000v but if I do the test with other virtual platforms/images I don not see that./
So if my first assumption is correct how do I glue the bridge-domain with the "overlay instance" in other platform?
Sorry for such an open question but after spending so many hours I'm really puzzled.
