I work for a small company that manages the IT of other small and medium sized business. Customers are billed according to the time we spend resolving any of their problems. My boss is complaining that we are not billing enough hours but our work is reactive and not proactive.
I would like to know if there are any other ways a managed service provider can generate revenue in a more proactive way. Also, does Cisco have any products directed at SMB that I can configure and manage? I am a CCNA and would love to use my skills more on a daily basis.
