Commonly used network monitoring tools for Cisco switches and routers

Hi,

I am new to the world of networking and applying for interviews. I just wanted to know what are the commonly used network monitoring tools to manage and configure Cisco switches and routers in large service providers and enterprise networks.

Hoping some experienced engineers could answer my query.

Its all depends on organisation :

1. Most popular Solarwinds , PRTG  Logic Monitor, 

2. Open source many MRTG, Zabixx.Nagios

I have worked with several service providers thought the years and the most popular network monitoring tools are Solar Winds and PRTG hands down.

You may find several old school that are using WhatsUp Gold as well.

I have also seen a few corporate clients that opt to use Zabbix for their net monitoring as well.
