EPC3825- low throughput and occasional reboot

Hi,

I have a customer in Norway, IT Grossisten which is experiencing a lot of issues with their EPC3825. This is a small service provider, and they now have 150+ pieces on stock which they're not able to use. Until now, they have swapped all modems with EPC3010- which solves the problem. Needless to say, they cannot afford throwing 150+ pieces away- hence we need to help them.

 

To summarize: 

IT Grossisten has around 150 EPC3825 on stock which cannot be used. Some of the modems have already been used, however was returned and swapped with EPC3010. The problem is when especially Ipads and Iphones are connected.

*Apparently they seem to shut down, and reboot occasionally.

*When they work, they work very slowly; it was tested with 40/40Mbps and only 500kbps got through.

*When rebooted, they might work a week or so.

*High packet loss.

*They have tested against EPC3010, on the same link, and only the EPC3825 seem to cause problems.
