I have CCNA r&s .what exam to get CCNP service provider ?

Dear friends,

I have a CCNA r&s. Now I want to get a CCNP service provider.

I saw on the cisco website: " need have CCNA R&s and pass at least a exam of CCIP : BGP, MPLS, QoS, MPLS +BGP,...to have condition to take CCNP s&p" 

I dont know that above cores (which I have to take at least one) belongs to old CCIP or new CCNP s&p.

Please anyone help me clear !

Hi,

this were the exams of the retired CCIP certification and unfortunately you can't take them any more:

So you'll have to take the CCNA-SP exam first.

I just check my Certification Progress. I have had a CCNP routing&switching. 

My status is

CCNP Service Provider   Enrolled

So am I qualified to take CCNP-SP without CCNA-SP ?

You can no longer schedule these retired CCIP exams.

There is a CCIP-CCNP migration path for people who have passed some of the old exams already, that's why they are still shown as beeing valid.

2018: This has now changed.You actually need to do CCNA SP before yu proceed to CCNP SP.
Its actually 2 exams for CCNA SP.

CCNP Service Provider is a certification for engineers required to deliver carrier-grade infrastructure and new managed services.

Hey Dragonhunt9111,

Two of the CCIP exams are expired, but the other two exams(642-642 & 642-902) are still valid and will qualify as a prerequisite for the CCNP Service Provider.
