We have several Remote Phy shelves deployed (RPD shelves) in our CO's feeding our nodes running DOCSIS 3.0 and OFDM. Customers with 3.0 modems obvisouly link up with the traditional DS channels. Our 3.1 modems lock on to the OFDM band as well. Randomly, we will have and entire node that is fed from an RPD, lose it's OFDM band. Meters directly connected to a node will show that the OFDM channel is gone. A quick cable rpd reset on the CBR8 for that specific RPD will bring the OFDM back. Once the RPD is back online, techs see that OFDM band on their meters. Anyone have any ideas on this or ran into this issue? Below is software code on our CMTS and the RPD shelves.
