For the last week Citrix will not load Duo from Workspace. It tells me to run it or download it, which it is already done. It worked fine on this PC before this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Citrix Workspace and Duo Desktop (7.12.0). When I am looking in Task Manager, Duo Desktop shows up briefly, sometimes showing as suspended, but immediately closes. I have tried installing an older version of Duo - no improvement. I have tried changing browsers and no improvement. My laptop works with same company Citrix server and same network and logins. Company IT cannot help because they technically can't support personal devices even though they do allow them. Device registration with the company is fine. Any other ideas to try?
I have tried to run Duo Desktop as Admin to see if I can enable Debugging like others have recommended but it will not load to let me get to a menu. I am attaching my DuoDesktop log file which looks like it has FATAL errors but cannot decipher much more than that.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help! I wish Citrix would support Duo users instead of just the Admins...

@louis-brusco-md I can see that u’ve already tried most of the usual fixes. Since Duo Desktop won’t stay running, it could be a corrupted profile or permission issue..... and this happens a lot! If u have some free time, try these:
Fully uninstall both Duo Desktop and Citrix Workspace.
Delete leftover folders in C:\Users<your name>\AppData\Local and AppData\Roaming related to both apps.
Reboot, then reinstall citrix workspace first, and duo desktop after.
Right-click duo desktop - Run as administrator the first time.
Also make sure your antivirus isn’t blocking Duo......
And If it still fails, check Event Viewer → Windows Logs → Application for Duo errors — those can help pinpoint what’s crashing it.
Hope this helps!

Hi @louis-brusco-md ,
You might be running into an issue caused by the most recent Windows 11 updates, which affected localhost access for many applications, including Duo Desktop. If so, the generic advice offered by the other community member won't help. The current guidance is to uninstall the Microsoft KB updates that impacted localhost access.
Please review this Duo Knowledge Base article for more information and troubleshooting steps: Why is Duo Desktop not detected on my Windows device after installing updates to Windows 11?
If you are the end-user of the system and not an administrator you may need to contact your organization's IT help desk for assistance.
