Dear everybody!
We found a problem on RV042G router. This maybe affect to any RVxxx router by firmware. The router periodically stop to forward packet and in this case mostly not possible to login onto (for management). If possible to login onto then the log sometimes show „out of memory” on variable internal process of. In this case the only way to repair is reset the router.
So here is the solution:
But Warning! If you activate this solution then you can configure the RV only from LAN interface! Configuring from WAN is not possible anymore!
But Warning! If you activate this solution then you can configure the RV only by http: protocol! Configuring by https: protocol is not possible anymore!
1). Do this modification by connection trough LAN interface
2). firewall/general/remote management = disable
3). firewall/general/https = disable
4). save config
5). reboot router
Remark: If the https management was enabled in your router then at the activation of this solution you may lost the connection. In this case you need to relogin to router by http protocol.
Remark: This solution tested only in gateway mode but maybe work on route mode too.
Remark: This solution tested in mode where the firewall was enabled.
