Hi there,
Does anyone know if I can convert a 1310 AP currently on an Autonomous image, to LWAPP - I have a 2504 controller.
The documentation I have read does not mention the 2500 series being able to support converted AP's. Just wanted to know if the doco is out of date or incorrect.
Cheers
Andrew

Hello Andrew,
Yes, the 2500 series supports APs that were converted to LWAP.
You can use an upgrade conversion tool to convert autonomous Cisco Aironet 1100, 1130AG, 1200, 1240AG,1260, and 1300 Series Access Points to lightweight mode.
Take a look at this posting. It describes how to convert an AP to LWAP.

Here is the configuration guide.

the 1310 series AP is last supported in WLC version of 7.0.x, check the compatibility matrix.
