Hi
Can anyone tell me if the mounting bracket for 3600 AP is the same as the 3500/1140/1040 mounting bracket?
I'm suspecting it's not as you can get modules that fit onto the back of the 3600 APs.
Thanks
Martin

Martin:
I think they are the same.
When you try to go for 3600 AP documens on cisco site and try to open the Access Point Mounting Instructions for 3600 it will actually direct you to the mounting instructions of 3500.
from this link (which is for 3600 AP as seen)
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/ps11983/prod_installation_guides_list.html
click on Access Point Mounting Instructions link. Then the 3500 AP mounting instructions doc will open.
I never seen both APs in practice so I think its is better to wait an answer from someone that worked on both of them that may give you an answer based on practice.
I hope my answer above helps.

Martin,
they are the same.

"While the AP 3600 has a little more depth, this AP is completely backward compatible with the mounting brackets for the existing Cisco Aironet 1040, 1140, 1260, and 3500 Series APs."
