Any chance Aironet 123x or older can be converted to use standard 802.3af power injector? Another question: Does the 1100 series have a field upgradable radio module similar to the 1200?

Cisco Aironet 1130AG and 1240AG Access Points support 802.3af PoE. Cisco Aironet 1200 and 1230 Access Points are not 802.3af compliant.Cisco recommends that you use Cisco 802.3af-capable PoE switches or power injectors whenever possible. Cisco 802.3af-compatible switches are backward compatible and will power non-802.3af access points.

The additional accesories are given below.

Cisco Aironet Power Injector (AIR-PWRINJ3)

Cisco Aironet Power Injector Media Converter (AIR-PWRINJ-FIB)

The Cisco Aironet Power Injectors use the power supply that ships with Cisco Aironet 1230AG Series access points.
