Hi all,
I have a CP-7960G IP phone.
I bought it to my re-seller, but It does not compatible with my cisco gear.
I think I should upgrade my IP phone version(software)?..
But I don't know everything because I handle it first time.
I searched its software through the Cisco Web site. (I attached .jpeg file)
To find Cisco Switch and Router, I've clicked "IOS software" tab. but in case of IP-Phone, I coundn't find its kind of tabs..
To upgrade IP phone's IOS, what should I do?
Thanks.

More information needed, what is the version of Cisco CallManager or CME? are you running Skinny or SIP?
the attachment has both the link for skinny or SIP software. Phones don't run IOS.

I'm with Richard on this.
Exactly what firmware are you trying to load into the phone, SCCP or SIP?
Exactly what are you trying to hook the phone up to? Cisco-based call manager or 3rd party call managers, like Asterisk.

Thank you for the URL.
I saw this URL Overview.
But I cannot approach that sentence.
You may understand my word if you see the photo which I upload.
As you can see the photo, there is a sentence "Protocol Application Invalid"
So I searched this problem using Google engine.
I could find solution easily.
this one,..
You think, this URL is useful for me..?
