check if switch can provide 25 w using static method using the command: power inline static

or try with Power injector.....AIR-PWRINJ6=

3560G can support up to 15.4 watts.  The only way to provide the adequate power for the AP are:

  • Power Injector; or
  • Power supply

NOTE:  I'm not providing PID for the options because there are ways around getting the right power injectors direct from the manufacturer.

i have 3802e  connected to 2960-l  and have the same issue.

the ap's frimware is 8.3.121

Hi All,

For both 2800 and 3800 aps, below is the power requirement. Please make sure these are there in the uplink switches to which these aps are connected.

Thanks

I downgrade to 8.2.151 ,everything is ok.

power inline static command shows only 154000 milli watt max which will become 15.4w i guess

is there any other way without installing power injector???

btw i have 3750 stack wise switch which also give 15.4w output.

If a switch support max 15.4 watt then you cant do anything.

paste the output of the command from switch:

sh power inline

sh cdp neigh
