Hello,

I am looking for the AP supporting channel 144 (5710 GHz ~ 5730 GHz).

I know FCC added this channel on June, 2015 and it is under domain region-B.

I have purchased or found some Cisco AP models which might support channel 144.

They are,

- AIR-CAP702W-B-K9 (Fail to convert Lightweight to Autonomous)

- AIR-SAP1602I-B-K9

- AIR-SAP2602I-B-K9

Can anyone fully confirm whether any of above AP models support channel 144?

I really shouldn't make a mistake since I don't have enough time return and reorder, and Netgear engineer just confirmed that no AP models from Netgear in US support channel 144.

If anyone know the model name of the AP supports this channel, that would be really great. I am looking for standalone with cheapest. Please help.

Andy

Yes, my B class units permit selection of channel 144 in the custom mode and my A class units do not.

Hello David,

Thank you for your answer. Now I completed lightweight to autonomous conversion on 'AIR-CAP702W-B-K9' (there were some errors though) somehow. And I got another domain region-B product 'AIR-SAP1602I-B-K9' but channel #144 was NOT available for both models.

Do you have any solutions? Thank you in advance for your support!

Hi, see other post - these APs do not support channel 144 as per their datasheets. More modern APs do.

Cheers,
Ric
