AP 1142 WILL SUPPORT CLEAN AIR TECHONOLOGY OR NOT

Hi can anybody tell me that cisco 1AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9 will support clean air techonology or not ?

I have WLC AIR-CT5508-50-K9 .. IT seems that WLC is supporting the clean air .

Can any body give we with this WLC what are the new features avaliable . Can the clients able to authenticate with active directory bye

Hi,

1142 does not support Clear Air.

Authentication via LDAP is possible, but not with MSCHAPv2 (e.g. PEAP-MSCHAPv2).

I would recommend using a Radius Server like IAS/NPS, ACS or freeradius.

No.  CleanAir is the exclusive domain of the 3500 and the 3600 WAPs only.

Depends on the firmware of the controller.  CleanAir is supported in the 7.0.98.0 firmware (if memory serves correct).
