Post the output to the following commands:

1.  WLC:  sh sysinfo;

2.  WLC:  sh time;

3.  AP:  sh version

I'm suspecting the APs has the wrong Regulatory Domain.

Hi Leo,

We just found issue same and please follow information below, But this just swing from Joined state and Unjoin state like flapping.

Hi,

your AP is for Europe domain.

Product/Model Number : AIR-CAP2702I-E-K9

you must use AP with -S- regulatory domain.

check this : http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/access-points/product_data_sheet0900aecd80537b6a.html

ask you supplier to change the AP

Hi Sandeep,

Thank you for response. But on my issue was AP can join to WLC normally inthe first time. But in sometime AP will go to Not Join state and go to Joined state again by itself. In 1 day we found 1 AP change state about 30 times.

Please help us to confirm this issue related with regulatory domain.

And the issue occur in time range 09:00 to 17:00 GMT+5 only.

Cheer,

FcNong

I agree with Sandeep.  The AP won't join the controller because of conflicting regulatory domain.

Now, straight from the box, the AP will INITIALLY JOIN the controller for the sole purpose of downloading the full CAPWAP IOS.  Once the CAPWAP IOS is loaded, because of incorrect regulatory domain, the AP will not join.  This is to be expected.

If you console into the AP and boot the unit up, you will see errors in regards to the regulatory domain or any other errors happening at that time.  Capture the output when you reboot the AP and maybe log the output during the times you say you have issues. The output will have the information you need to troubleshoot.
