When a ap1121G joins WLC4404,it shows a normal heatmap in WCS.
But when a ap1121G joins WLC5508,the RSSI in whole coverage is almost -35 dbm.
I copy the heatmaps to the attached files.
Does anyone ever meet this ?
The versions are as below.
WCS 6.0.196
WLC5508 6.0.200.29
WLC4404 5.2.157
Thanks~

I guess the APs in that place are hearing each other loudly!! so this is hapening!!! manually changing will help you.. please check the client connectviity and see if we are facing any issue!! if its just the cosmetic thing that is reflecting on the WCS map, then open up a case with us and we may need to work on it!!

may be MAP/Floor corruption... can we readd the Floor and the add the APs again and see if that helps??

Hi Surendra,
The ap registering WLC4404 has power level 1.
The ap registering WLC5508 has power lever 2.
In face these two aps are not in the same floor.
I move the ap registering WLC4404 to the same floor map for comparing the heatmaps.
I create a new floor and put one ap1121G registering WLC5508 on the new floor.
The heatmap is as attached.
Thanks~

Power level 2 !! what happens if you manually assign a less power to that AP and test once!! i mean asign power 6 or something and see if that helps!!

Hi Surendra :
We just let the ap join WLC4404 to avoid this problem.
If it is needed to let ap1121G join WLC4404 in the future,we'll open a case for it.
Thanks~
