I have a network of AP1231 where multiple VLANs are configured. Each AP has his management IP address in the native VLAN. I need to deploy another AP1231 as a workgroup bridge so that the AP's management will run in the same native VLAN but clients take the second VLAN. Is it possible to connect a workgroup bridge against to multiple VLANs ? Thanks.

Hello,
it isn't possible to use more than 1 VLAN simultaneous, because the WGB workes as (infrastructure)client. I try it nevertheless last week (12.3(7) -4 VLANs - 2x 1231) result was as aspected --> it does'nt never work.

I am initially in agreement with you but..... what would be the purpose of the global command:
workgroup-bridge client-vlan #
??

Hello,
the purpose of the global command is following :
(I can send you a real sample AP<->WGB)
If you configure on the central-site (AP) 2 VLAN,s
in my sample 2--> 1;211)
first for management and the second for the user data,is it not possible for a client on the WGB-site
to communicate with a VLAN that is tagged.
Therefore must you on the WGB-site configure :
workgroup-bridge client-vlan 211 in my sample.
Will mean, the VLAN 211 is then assigned to interface
fastethernet 0 and a connected client can now send data over the radios to the vlan 211 on central-site.
This is the function from this command.
best regards
