Ascom Phones with static ips won't work with 4404 ver 7.0.98

Any ideas how to make the Ascom work with the latest IOS with the Ascom using a static ip? Works fine on older IOS but not the new one.

Sounds like a good excuse to go to 7.0.116.0:

I suspect CSCth56224 - Clients with a static IP address may get stuck in DHCP_REQD State
