I recently bought 8 APs AIR-AP1852I-Z-K9.
I successfully configured the first AP, converted it to Mobility Express mode (Version 8.5.131.0), then connected to the CiscoAirProvision SSID and made the proper settings for this AP to function as a Master.
Then, I set up the second AP to join the Master AP. I performed the necessary procedures:
I downloaded the Cisco Mobility Express Bundle in the same version of my AP Master, placed it on a TFTP server, configured it in the Mobility Express panel on the Software Update tab and then turned on my second AP. The AP did the upgrade, but didn't join the Master AP (it doesn't appear on the Mobility Express panel Access Points List).
The AP still blinks green, red and amber. In the console, the last messages displayed are:
"CAPWAP State: Init
Config not found, PNP is required, Starting PNP
Failed to start timer, NULL timer handle "
The sh version command shows that the update was successful:
AP Running Image: 8.5.131.0
Primary Boot Image: 8.5.131.0
Backup Boot Image: 8.2.151.0
AP Image type: MOBILITY EXPRESS IMAGE
AP Configuration: NOT MOBILITY EXPRESS CAPABLE
What should I do to my second AP join the Master AP?

I resolve with the command on the AP:

With the same versione of AP 8.5.131 and WLC 8.8.110 I resolved the problem with reboot of WLC ( mobility express WLC).
